Consulting on PR Strategies for flagship events such as Bake It Better, Shop Wear Care and the rebranding of Christmas e-gifts.
Devising and implementing a media strategy for the first ever Great Big Walk. This included the delivery of a live media launch, celebrity briefings, case study features, press updates, film edits and broadcast interviews.
St John Ambulance
Three contracts for St John Ambulance on a variety of projects, including the re-brand of its flagship event, the Everyday heroes Awards. Finalising media-friendly categories, composing sponsorship packages, identifying celebrity ambassadors and shortlisting entrants.

loneliness, NHS pressures and Covid-19 response. Overseas work content gathering in Bangladesh.

Publicised charity sector response to government proposed merger of DFID with the Foreign Office. Contacted media with a signed letter from over 200 charities urging the PM to rethink the decision. Gained mainstream coverage across all UK papers and hundreds of news websites.
Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases
Supported the launch of Youth Combatting NTDs advisory panel. Issued press releases in eight countries including Nigeria, Bangladesh and Canada.
Sole publicist on the first ever Big Virtual Lunch which took place during the Covid-19 lockdown. Commissioned a survey into the importance of neighbours which gained blanket media coverage across the nationals plus hundreds of regional news sites.
Repeat contracts since 2009 on a variety of high-profile media campaigns including the London 2012 Olympic Games, The National Lottery Awards and milestone moment campaigns such as the National Lottery’s 20th Birthday.
Women in Focus Awards
Devising and implementing a media strategy for the inaugural Women in Focus Awards in Geneva, Switzerland. Drafting finalist press stories for 11 countries, copywriting the award brochure, liaising with the four winners and placing media stories pre and during the event. Resulted in 72 pieces of media coverage including print, online and broadcast.

Devising and delivering a PR strategy for Europe’s Biggest International Development Conference. Placing pre-event editorial such as speaker blogs, maximising news stories from the event itself through press announcements, and facilitating interviews with key media outlets such as Reuters and The Guardian
Launch publicity for two parenting titles. Resulting features in the Mirror and Sun newspapers, a regular contributor column for the author in a large regional paper and extensive online coverage including key media targets - mumsnet and netmums.
National Lottery Good Causes (Camelot ad campaign)
Planning and implementing a regional print and radio PR campaign to compliment Camelot’s ‘Heroes Return’ TV ad. Interviewing WWII veterans and POWs to create compelling case studies with local interest. Secured over 120 pieces of regional print and radio coverage across the UK.
The Fundraising Agency
Devising a PR & Marketing strategy for a charity 5k fundraising event. Identifying key media targets, tactics and tools for delivery and supplying template press materials and contacts.
Three consecutive years devising and implementing regional, national and International PR campaigns for the Decanter World Wine Awards. Liaising with journalists to create bespoke features including The Telegraph and The Observer, whilst also creating snappy news pieces for the tabloids - Sun, Mirror, Daily Mail and Daily Express.
Consulting on various projects for this International Eye Health charity, including a blogger trip to Cameroon, an art exhibition of Zambian patients and a celebrity media trip on the world’s only flying eye hospital.
